Located in Pomona, this 6.3-acre green space offers plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. The well-kept grounds make Jaycee Park an ideal spot to unwind with friends or simply lounge with a good book. What we love about this park is how clean it feels, with an open layout that never seems crowded or overwhelming.

The park features a large mural that's become something of a local landmark. It's genuinely impressive - a bit wild (or as some locals call it, "bonkers") but undeniably beautiful. Bring your camera, because this artwork makes for an excellent Instagram backdrop.

Recreation Facilities

The park offers a lighted baseball field, which is helpful if you're trying to squeeze in some playing time after work. When the sun goes down, the lights come on, meaning your baseball or softball game doesn't have to end just because daylight did.

There's also a well-maintained soccer field that draws players of all ages throughout the week. Both baseball and soccer players can find space to play at Jaycee Park.

Playgrounds

If you've got kids in tow, you'll be happy to know the newly renovated playgrounds are actually worth your time. The equipment was updated in recent years and thoughtfully designed with children aged 3-12 in mind.

Instead of dealing with sand in shoes (and everywhere else), the playground features a rubber surface that's both safer for falls and cleaner for everyone involved. This upgrade has made a world of difference, and local parents have definitely taken notice.

Amenities

The picnic areas scattered throughout make this a great spot for everything from family gatherings to casual lunch dates in nature. There's also a community center on-site that's open Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM if you need indoor space.

On hot days, you'll appreciate the drinking water fountains placed within the grounds, along with several shaded areas where you can escape the California sun without having to pack up and head home.

Location and Accessibility

Situated just off Interstate 10, getting to Jaycee Park couldn't be easier whether you're a local or just passing through. The ample parking lot means you won't have to circle endlessly or park blocks away - a small but significant convenience when you're carrying picnic supplies or sports equipment.

You might worry about highway noise, but a substantial sound wall does a surprisingly good job of keeping the park peaceful. While you might occasionally hear traffic, it's more of a distant hum than a distraction from your day.
