Located in Rancho Cucamonga, Coyote Canyon Park offers a slice of outdoor tranquility with something for everyone. It's a clean, well-kept space within the community.

The children's playground is a hit with the little ones. We love how they've thought about safety - big swings set over sand for soft landings, and a jungle gym surrounded by foam padding and more sand. A popular feature is the zipline that attracts both kids and adventurous adults.

Get Active

If you're into sports, the baseball field sees plenty of action. From casual weekend games to organized little league practices, this field stays busy throughout the season.

Need to get your steps in? The fitness trail loops around the entire park, with water fountains spaced out along the way - excellent for those of us who always forget to bring enough water. It's a pleasant route for a morning jog or an evening walk when the California heat subsides.

Picnics & Gatherings

Hungry after all that activity? The park comes equipped with picnic tables and barbecue grills that make outdoor dining a breeze. The cement slab tables paired with charcoal grills can accommodate groups from 8 to 16 people, suitable for family gatherings or weekend meetups.

Room to Breathe

What we particularly appreciate is the generous open field of grass - a blank canvas for whatever you fancy, be it a casual frisbee game, a peaceful afternoon with a book, or letting your four-legged friend burn off some energy.

The community really makes use of this space too, with neighborhood movie nights and Halloween trunk-or-treat events bringing locals together all year long.

For Dog Lovers

Speaking of four-legged friends, Coyote Canyon is definitely dog-friendly. The open fields give pups plenty of room to play, and there are dog waste bag dispensers stationed around - a thoughtful addition that helps maintain the park's cleanliness.

Getting There

You won't have to circle endlessly looking for a spot, as the park features dedicated parking lots - a simple convenience that makes a big difference, especially during busy weekends.

Facilities

There are public restrooms available, which is always a relief (pun intended). Just note that during peak times, they might not be as pristine as early in the day - but that's pretty standard for any well-used park.
