Following its 2014 renovation (coinciding with its 125th anniversary!), the park embraced its carnival roots with themed playgrounds that transport you back in time. Kids can climb on a structure modeled after the original wooden "Scenic Railway" roller coaster that once thrilled visitors here.

Practical Details

You'll find public restrooms on the northeast side of the park and plenty of parking, including accessible spaces. Mature trees provide welcome shade throughout much of the park, especially near the playgrounds, but on particularly sunny days, you might wish for more coverage directly over the play structures.
