Westlake Community Park

Location and Overview

At the corner of Westlake Parkway and Broadgate Drive, about 7 miles north of Downtown Sacramento, Westlake Community Park spreads across 10.32 acres of inviting green space in North Natomas. It's part of the Westlake master-planned community, which, as you might guess, centers around a pretty lake that shares its name.

Play and Sports Options

Kids will light up at the sight of the adventure play area, complete with swings, slides, and monkey bars where they can burn off energy and make new friends. For sports enthusiasts, the park offers a variety of athletic facilities. There are bantam soccer fields for the footie fans, basketball courts for shooting hoops, baseball courts for practicing your swing, and even grass volleyball courts for beach-style play without the sand.

The park also offers plenty of open grassy areas where you can toss a football around or organize an impromptu game of ultimate frisbee with friends.

Community Hub

Westlake Community Park is both a recreational space and a gathering spot for the neighborhood. The amphitheater hosts small performances and community gatherings throughout the year.

On special evenings, the park transforms with food truck nights, where you can sample local cuisine while chatting with neighbors under the open sky - definitely worth checking out if you're visiting when one is happening.
