Bryce E. Hanes Park and Jon Cole Skate Park

History and Dedication

This 2.9-acre public park opened in May 2016 and is named after two local heroes. Bryce Hanes was a San Bernardino police officer killed on duty, while Jon Cole was a young skateboarder who died trying to rescue his parents.

Recreational Facilities

The centerpiece of the park is the Jon Cole Skate Park, which provides a space for skateboarding enthusiasts. For those seeking other physical activities, the park offers a basketball court and an outdoor fitness court with exercise equipment.

Children can enjoy the playground area and cool off in the splash pad during warmer months.
