Sprawling across 22.04 acres in San Bernardino's Ward 1, Nuñez Park offers something for just about every sports enthusiast out there.

Baseball fans will feel right at home with the Little League diamond, while the two adult softball diamonds host many spirited weekend games. Basketball more your thing? Take your pick from four outdoor courts - two full courts for serious games and two half courts ideal for a quick shootaround with friends.

If racquet sports are calling your name, there's one tennis court and two outdoor racquetball courts waiting for you. Soccer players can get their kicks on the dedicated soccer field, part of a larger soccer complex where players of all ages gather to enjoy the beautiful game.

Amenities

When summer temperatures climb, the swimming pool provides a refreshing escape from the California heat. Surrounding the park, you can find eight picnic tables that make perfect spots for family lunches, birthday celebrations, or just enjoying a sandwich in the shade.

Little ones have their own space to explore in the playground area, where they can burn energy and make new friends. The recreation/community center represents the park's social hub, hosting various activities that bring neighbors together throughout the year.

There are two restroom facilities available in the park. Keep in mind that maintenance can vary, so it's a good idea to bring some hand sanitizer along just in case.

Nuñez Park offers various community programs. You can join physical fitness activities, try your hand at boxing, or jump into soccer games for all ages. Kids can participate in flag football programs, and there's even tutoring available for those looking to sharpen their minds alongside their bodies. Reservations and Rules

Planning a big gathering? If your group exceeds 25 people, you'll need to secure a written permit according to San Bernardino's municipal code.

For reserving specific areas of the park for your next event, you'll need to visit the Parks and Recreation office in San Bernardino in person to make arrangements.
