Botanical Diversity

The park features a diverse array of plant life, including 600 trees and 16,000 plants arranged in 13 different botanical feature areas. These gardens showcase flora adapted to the Bay Area's specific climate, offering visitors a glimpse into various ecosystems.

Architectural Highlights

At the heart of Salesforce Park lies a central plaza with an oculus surrounded by a bamboo grove. This area also boasts the largest exterior walkable glass floor in the United States, providing a unique perspective of the transit center below.

Interactive Features

One of the park's most distinctive features is the "Bus Fountain," an interactive public art installation created by local artist Ned Kahn. This 1,200-foot-long fountain uses sensors to detect buses passing through the transit center below, triggering water jets to create a dynamic and ever-changing display.
