BMX Paradise
Calabazas Park features one of the largest city-funded BMX courses in the Bay Area, which is a major attraction for cycling enthusiasts. The BMX track is open from one hour after sunrise to one hour after sunset, though it may be closed if the ground is deemed too wet for use.
Sports Facilities
In addition to the BMX course, the park offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors. The 17.2-acre space includes sports amenities such as a sand volleyball court, basketball courts, tennis courts, and an unlighted softball field that can also be used for soccer with a permit.
For those interested in more leisurely activities, the park provides horseshoe pits and multiple playgrounds for children.

Calabazas Park also caters to visitors looking for a relaxing outdoor experience. The park features picnic areas with barbecue pits, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or community events.
There are both reservable and non-reservable picnic areas, with the non-reservable spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
