Park History

Located in San Jose, California, Moitozo Park is a peaceful 5.1-acre green space that provides a nice break from city life. Established in 2003, the park sits in the Rincon district of North San Jose and offers a tranquil atmosphere.

The park bears the name of the Moitozo family, a Portuguese-American family with Azorean roots who owned much of this land since the 1920s, adding a touch of local heritage to this community space.

Location and Getting There

You'll find Moitozo Park near the intersection of North 1st Street and Río Robles. It's within walking distance of both the River Oaks station and Tasman station on the VTA light rail.
