Park History
Fletcher Park is a three-acre green space located in Santa Maria, California. The park, officially renamed in 2004, honors Harrell and Betty Fletcher, two Santa Maria residents who were heavily involved in the development of the community.
Recent Renovations
In late 2024, Fletcher Park underwent renovations, introducing a new forest-themed playground designed to inspire active outdoor play. The playground features various engaging elements, including a log climber, swings, a twisting slide, and a charming "Fletcher Frog" installation.
Park Features
The park's layout includes grassy areas and a decomposed granite pathway that encompasses the park, providing an ideal setting for afternoon walks. Fletcher Park is suitable for small parties and family picnics, offering a blend of recreational and relaxation spaces.
Recreational Facilities
