Berylwood Park

Skate Plaza

One of the park's notable features is the Skate Plaza, which opened on August 12, 2020. The 5,200 square foot facility is constructed from pre-cast and case-in-place components.

The plaza features ramps, low walls, benches, curbs, slide rails, jumps, and quarter pipes. It was designed to accommodate skaters of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, though it particularly appeals to street skaters and those with more experience.

Recreational Amenities

In addition to the Skate Plaza, Berylwood Park includes other recreational amenities such as a half-court kid's basketball court, volleyball court, and a ball diamond.

The park also features a well-designed playground with two separate areas - one specifically designed for younger children. This layout allows families to supervise younger kids while older ones enjoy the skate park.

Picnic and Gathering Areas

Berylwood Park provides covered picnic tables and barbecues, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings and community events. Some of the covered picnic areas are conveniently located near the skate park.

While the barbecue area is positioned near the street and parking lot, the park offers plenty of open space for various activities and relaxation.

The park features walking trails and open grassy areas that make it perfect for morning walks, dog walking (on leash), or simply enjoying nature in a peaceful setting.

The wide open layout provides ample room for various recreational activities, though visitors should note that some areas of the park have limited shade.
