Park History

Established in 1965, Entradero Park covers a sprawling 26.5 acres, earning its place as the second-largest park in the city.

Facilities and Activities

This urban green space sees locals gathering for everything from casual hangouts to organized sports. With its mix of natural areas and recreational facilities, there's something here for most visitors.

The park proudly hosts the West Torrance Little League, with two well-maintained baseball fields where young athletes develop their skills and create lasting memories. If basketball is more your speed, the park's basketball courts are available for shooting some hoops or joining a pickup game.

Natural Features

One of the park's features is its location next to the Entradero Sump, which has been transformed into restored wetlands. The year-round pond attracts local wildlife, and you can often spot ducks and Canadian geese on the water.

The loop trail circles around the basin, providing a nice walking path. Take a leisurely stroll along this path and you might be rewarded with seasonal wildflowers, birds darting between trees, or even rabbits hopping through the underbrush.

Recreation Areas

Planning a family gathering? The shaded picnic area comes equipped with tables and charcoal grills, ideal for those weekend cookouts. These spots are conveniently close to the parking lot, making it easy to transport your coolers and supplies.

Kids will love the playground located near the restrooms and basketball courts, where they can climb, swing, and slide to their heart's content. Meanwhile, the open grassy areas provide plenty of space for impromptu games of frisbee or a relaxing afternoon with your four-legged friend.

Amenities

You can find clean restrooms across from the picnic area, so you can comfortably spend the whole day exploring the park. Dog owners will appreciate that their pets are welcome here, with sanitary bags available at various points across the grounds.

Note that parking can be limited during Little League season, especially on weekends when families flock to the park for games. You might want to arrive early to secure a spot if you're visiting during these busy times.
