Need a place to toss a ball around? Meadowlands Park offers a generous playfield area with three backstops, fantastic for an impromptu baseball game or practice session. The basketball court got some love in 2023 with newly added benches where you can catch your breath between games. The sprawling grassy areas are yours to claim - no matter if you're organizing a casual soccer match, flinging frisbees with friends, or simply watching your kite dance in the breeze.

Kids have their own territories here too. Two playground areas cater to different age groups - one designed with the little ones in mind and another for the older adventure-seekers. The play structures are complemented by four swings (two sized for smaller children, two for bigger kids), and an adaptive swing added in 2023 makes the fun more inclusive.

Comfort & Accessibility

Feel like stretching your legs? The park's walking paths form a complete loop around the perimeter - a recent 2023 addition that's ideal for a casual stroll or your daily exercise routine.

When hunger strikes, head to the picnic tables or stake out the covered picnic shelter. Recent accessibility improvements have made the picnic area easier for everyone to enjoy. Planning something bigger? You might need to make a reservation for large gatherings.

No need to cut your park day short for bathroom breaks - public restrooms with running water are available on-site. And parking is straightforward with 47 off-street spaces available.

For the Dog Lovers

While not officially designated as a dog park, Meadowlands is a hit with the four-legged crowd. Your leashed companions are welcome to join the fun. There are dog waste bags at all entrances, making it easy to keep the grounds clean and pleasant for everyone.

Fresh Updates

Some upgrades were added in 2023, including the new adaptive swing and benches at the basketball court.

Other improvements you'll notice include the completed walking path loop, replaced cracked concrete, better access to the picnic area, and various refreshed amenities within the park.

Community Use

Meadowlands is a popular neighborhood gathering spot. The grounds accommodate everything from casual meetups to organized sports tournaments. Local kids also use the park for the TGIF after-school program.
