Most are made of concrete or packed dirt, making them accessible if you're pushing a stroller or using a wheelchair. The city does a good job keeping the paths clear of snow during winter, so you can enjoy the park year-round.

If you're into rollerblading, the smooth concrete sections provide perfect stretches for gliding along. Just be aware that some trail areas may flood during particularly wet seasons.

You can find a good-sized parking lot that rarely fills up completely, making arrival stress-free. Restroom facilities are available for most of the year, however during winter you might find portable toilets instead.

One of the park's best qualities is its clean, well-maintained grounds and the fact that it rarely feels crowded - you can usually find your own space even on nice weekends. If you get hungry during your visit, several food options are available nearby, making it easy to extend your stay without much planning.
