Linksview Park is part of Centennial's South Suburban Parks and Recreation system, and it covers the basics well. The modern playground has equipment designed for children of all ages, with climbing structures that look to have been installed fairly recently - definitely not your old-school metal slides that burn legs in summer.

There's also plenty of open grass for frisbee, soccer, or just letting the kids run wild. If baseball's your thing, the park includes a baseball field great for casual games or getting some batting practice in.

Need a break from the sun? The covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables offers a great spot to recharge. This sheltered area makes a convenient home base for family outings or small gatherings.

One thing to keep in mind: shade is limited here. The trees are still in their growing years, which means the playground gets pretty sun-drenched, especially during summer months when Colorado sunshine is at its strongest. A hat and sunscreen are definitely smart additions to your park bag.
