About the Location

Play & Recreation

Linksview Park sits nestled within Centennial's South Suburban Parks and Recreation system. The modern playground has equipment designed for children of all ages.

You'll find some nice climbing structures that appear to have been installed fairly recently - definitely not your old-school metal slides that burn legs in summer! There's also plenty of open grass where you can toss a frisbee, kick a soccer ball, or just let the kids run wild for a while.

If baseball's your thing, the park includes a baseball field great for casual games or getting some batting practice in. It's nice having different sports options all in one spot.

Rest & Gather

Need a break from the sun? The covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables offers a great spot to recharge. This sheltered area makes a convenient home base for family outings or small gatherings.

Just a heads up about facilities - there's a portable toilet on site, but sometimes it might be running low on toilet paper or hand sanitizer. You might want to bring your own supplies just in case. Also worth noting that there aren't permanent restrooms or water fountains here, so pack accordingly!

Setting & Views

The park provides a welcome patch of green within the suburban landscape. From certain spots, you can catch glimpses of nearby golf courses and open spaces - hence the "Linksview" name.

One thing to keep in mind: shade is limited here. The trees are still in their growing years, which means the playground gets pretty sun-drenched, especially during summer months when Colorado sunshine is at its strongest. A hat and sunscreen are definitely smart additions to your park bag.

Neighborhood Vibes

Linksview is popular with the surrounding neighborhood. Its location is convenient for nearby families looking for a quick outdoor adventure without having to drive across town.

The park tends to be more crowded during the cooler parts of the year (that limited shade situation again). Parents particularly appreciate how the playground works for different age groups - toddlers can explore safely while older kids still find enough challenges to keep them entertained.
