About the Location

What You'll Find Here

Located in Westminster, Colorado, Orchard Park (formerly Skyline Vista Park) spans a comfortable 11 acres of neighborhood green space that offers something for just about everyone.

You'll find some well-kept sports facilities including softball fields, a sand volleyball court, and a multi-use turf field for whatever game you feel like organizing. If you're more in the mood to relax, you'll find plenty of picnic areas with tables and BBQ grills, plus pavilions meant for gathering with friends and family.

Things To Do

Kids absolutely love the playground here, which seems to have gotten a recent facelift. The equipment caters to various age groups, and the sandbox is a particular hit with the little ones. Toddlers spend hours happily digging away!

A paved walking path meanders through the grounds, making it ideal for your morning jog, walking the dog, or just stretching your legs. What makes Orchard Park stand out are some of its more unique offerings like a bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, and even a Top Spin court (also called Tuj Lub in Hmong) - definitely not something you find at every park.

If inline skating is your thing, you'll appreciate the dedicated inline skating hockey area too.

Community Vibes

Orchard Park truly is a neighborhood hub, offering that essential outdoor space within the suburbs. Whether you're looking to join a pickup game or just find a peaceful spot to read a book, the park accommodates all kinds of outdoor activities.

You'll find the basics covered with a drinking fountain and portable restroom facilities near where you park. The place is generally kept quite clean, which is always a plus for a public space.

Bringing Your Four-Legged Friends

Dog owners, take note - your furry companions are welcome here, but do keep them leashed at all times and away from the baseball fields. The open areas make for pleasant dog walks, and thankfully, most pet parents are good about cleaning up afterward.

Good To Know

At the time of writing, the park is undergoing some irrigation system improvements, so you might notice work being done on certain turf areas.

When To Visit

Orchard Park generally offers a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation or exercise. Keep in mind that since it's next to a school, the playground might be reserved for students during school hours. The picnic benches near the playground become available for public use once the school day ends.
