Facilities

If you're planning an event, Squire's Park features the largest reservable pavilion in Westminster's park system, with space for over 200 people - plenty of room for large gatherings.

The pavilion includes BBQ grills, electric outlets, and numerous picnic tables, suitable for birthday parties to family reunions. The covered roof provides protection from Colorado's unpredictable weather.

Recreation Areas

Right next to the pavilion sits a large playground, so you can keep an eye on the kids while flipping burgers. Local families often visit this playground for their children to play.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the basketball courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields spread across the grounds. And if organized sports aren't your thing, there's plenty of open space for frisbee, catch, or just lounging on a blanket with a good book.

Exciting changes are on the horizon! In 2025, Squire's Park will undergo a major transformation with a nearly $3 million makeover approved by the city.

Kids (and kids at heart) can look forward to a mountain-themed adventure playground featuring a thrilling zipline and expanded equipment that exceeds accessibility standards - meaning more inclusive fun for everyone.

The renovation plans also include a small off-leash dog area (finally!), improved trails, and landscape upgrades focused on drought-tolerant plants and turf conversion to help conserve water - a thoughtful touch for Colorado's semi-arid climate.
