Windsor Park

Park Overview

The golf course views stretching beyond its borders give Windsor Park's 13 acres in Westminster, Colorado a sense of space that the park itself doesn't fully account for on paper. Open grassy areas invite frisbee, lounging, or whatever low-key activity you're in the mood for.

It's a well-kept neighborhood green that feels clean and inviting without trying too hard.

Recreation Facilities

Kids will gravitate toward the park's playground, although we should mention it's not exactly cutting-edge - a bit of a throwback that could use some modern touches. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the full-size basketball court where you can shoot some hoops, challenge friends to a game, or perfect that jump shot in the Colorado sunshine.

Picnic Areas

When you get hungry after all that fresh air, you'll find well-maintained picnic tables and grills scattered throughout the park. These spots are great for everything from casual sandwich lunches to more elaborate cookouts with family and friends. Pack your cooler and make an afternoon of it - these areas tend to be popular for good reason.

Natural Features and Trails

Nature lovers will appreciate access to Margaret's Pond, a peaceful spot to observe local wildlife or simply take in the scenery. The park also connects to the Farmer's High Line Canal, part of the regional trail system. This connection makes Windsor Park an excellent jumping-off point if you're in the mood for a longer adventure on foot or by bike.
