Palm Point Park is a 17-acre nature park located on Lakeshore Drive in Gainesville, Florida. The park extends as a peninsula into Newnans Lake, offering visitors scenic views of the water and surrounding natural landscape.

The park's unique geographic location makes it a popular spot for birdwatching, particularly during migration seasons. Its position attracts both local and migratory bird populations, with over 230 species recorded at the site.
Visitors may observe various waterbirds year-round, as well as songbirds during migration periods. Some notable species that have been spotted include Prothonotary Warblers, Blue-winged Warblers, Yellow-throated Warblers, Scarlet Tanagers, Painted Buntings, and Blue Grosbeaks.
