Fitness Zone®

Since July 2013, Concord Park has featured a modern Fitness Zone® that's completely ADA accessible. This outdoor gym area features 10 different stations with equipment for both strength training and cardio workouts.

What makes this fitness area special is how it's designed for literally everyone - including wheelchair users. The free outdoor equipment has become a go-to spot for locals looking to stay fit without being confined to an indoor gym.

Sports and Play Areas

Sports enthusiasts will feel right at home with the park's athletic offerings. You'll discover a little-league size baseball field and basketball courts that host everything from serious pickup games to casual shooting around.

If you've got kids in tow, the playground area provides a space for them to burn off energy and make new friends. Safety is a priority here with cushioned flooring to soften any tumbles. Just a heads-up: it tends to get crowded after school hours and can be quite sunny and hot during summer - bringing water and sun protection is a smart move.

Picnic and General Amenities

The picnic areas are popular for family get-togethers, especially during weekends and holidays when the smell of barbecue fills the air.

Note that there are no public restrooms available, so plan your visit accordingly. Also, you'll need to leave your furry friends at home as pets aren't allowed in the park. While main areas are well-lit, some sections including the parking lot might be a bit dim after sunset.
