Historic Naval Heritage
Blue Jacket Park sits on the 75-acre site of the former Orlando Naval Training Center. For over 30 years, this location served as a training ground for thousands of Navy personnel known as "Blue Jackets."
A notable feature is the Navy History Wall, which pays tribute to the site's naval heritage. This memorial consists of 10 panels that illustrate the Navy's history in Orlando through pictures and words, including descriptions of the recruit experience and the Navy's current activities in the area.
