At just 0.79 acres, Lake Lancaster Park is a small green spot in Orlando's Lancaster Park neighborhood, but it sits along the shores of Lake Lancaster - a pretty impressive 43-acre body of water - and that changes things considerably.

The views here are absolutely worth the visit. There's something calming about gazing across the water while the bustle of Orlando continues in the distance. It's not trying to be a major attraction, just a simple, tranquil spot to decompress for a little while.

What You'll Find

A paved walking path winds along the lakeshore, excellent for a quick morning jog or an evening amble as the sun sets. Nothing fancy, just a nice, accessible trail that lets you soak in the scenery at your own pace.

Though compact, this park is a vital green pocket for the neighborhood, giving locals a convenient escape without having to venture far from home. One of our favorite things about the space is the shade from mature trees that keeps things cool even during those intense Florida heat waves.

Getting There

Note that parking is quite limited here, as the park sits roadside and wasn't designed for large crowds. It's really meant as a walkable destination for those living nearby, so if you're coming from further away, you might need to plan your parking strategy in advance.
