A highlight at Waterfront Park is spotting manatees and dolphins as they navigate the waterway. The main waterfront trail stretches about 3.5 miles round trip, offering gorgeous views of the Intracoastal, passing boats, and the surrounding landscape. The generous width of these paths means you won't feel cramped, even on busier days when cyclists and walkers share the space.

On the Water

A welcome addition to the park is the kayak and paddleboard launch area, complete with steps and handrails that make getting in and out of the water much less precarious. Don't have your own equipment? No problem - kayak and paddleboard rentals are available on-site (typically around $25/hour), giving you the freedom to explore the waterway from a different perspective.

Anglers will appreciate the fishing pier that extends into the Intracoastal, where catfish and various saltwater species can be caught. Some visitors have even had luck crabbing from the pier - worth a try if you're feeling patient.
