The park features a significant 9/11 Memorial that includes a steel girder recovered from the World Trade Center after the September 11, 2001 attacks. This powerful memorial, complemented by sculptures from local artists, honors both the victims and heroes of that tragic day.
A prominent Veterans Memorial stands in the park, centered around a 15-foot black granite obelisk. The monument proudly displays the seals of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines, paying tribute to those who served our country.
