Copeland Park is a substantial recreational area located in Tampa, Florida, spanning approximately 132 acres. The park offers a diverse range of outdoor and indoor activities for visitors of all ages.

Trail System

One of the park's notable features is its extensive trail system, which includes both asphalt and nature trails. The exercise/fitness trail winds through natural wooded areas and crosses boardwalks over wetlands, providing an immersive nature experience.

The paved asphalt trail extends for approximately one mile, offering a comfortable walking or jogging surface.

Playgrounds and Sports Facilities

The park boasts two playground areas equipped with various play structures, including monkey bars and slides. These areas are partially shaded, allowing children to play comfortably even on warmer days.

For sports enthusiasts, the park provides multiple facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, and a ball field with a sand infield and grassy outfield.

Community Center

Copeland Park also features a community center that houses an indoor gymnasium, a fitness room with weights and exercise equipment, a computer lab, and multi-purpose rooms. This facility enhances the park's offerings by providing indoor recreational options.

Aquatic Facilities

For aquatic activities, the park includes Copeland Pool, a family/leisure pool with lap lanes, a zero-depth entry, a dive well, water slides, and ample seating for spectators. The pool area can accommodate up to 2,000 people, making it suitable for larger gatherings or events.

Picnic Areas

The park provides several amenities for picnicking and outdoor gatherings, including four spacious shelters equipped with picnic tables, grills, and trash receptacles. These areas can be reserved for events, adding to the park's versatility as a community space.
