Located in Atlanta's Capitol View and Sylvan Hills neighborhoods, Perkerson Park covers 50 acres of green space. Since 1945, this park has been offering natural surroundings and various activities for visitors.

If you're interested in disc golf, Perkerson has a championship-caliber disc golf course that attracts players from around the region. Designed by John Ritger, the 18-hole course features dual tee pads on most holes, making it fun for both newbies and seasoned pros alike.

The course winds its way through woods and alongside the creek, creating a challenging but scenic experience. Just a heads-up: some holes involve steep hills and creek crossings, so you might want to wear appropriate shoes, especially after it rains.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the tennis courts and basketball courts (with both full and half-court options). There's also a baseball field for those weekend games, plus plenty of open grassy areas well-suited for frisbee, casual soccer, or just sprawling out on a blanket.
