Midway Park

Park Overview

Midway Park, located in Nampa, Idaho, is a sprawling recreational area encompassing approximately 52 acres, designed to serve the community with a range of outdoor activities and facilities. Situated at the intersection of Midway Road and Smith Avenue, this park caters to visitors of all ages and abilities.

Initially conceived in 2007, the park's development has followed a phased approach, with new amenities being gradually added.

Sports Facilities

For sports enthusiasts, the park features four baseball/softball fields, six pickleball courts, a multipurpose sports court for basketball and futsal, and a soccer field. These varied facilities accommodate different sporting interests and skill levels.

An outdoor fitness gym and a half-mile fitness trail cater to those seeking physical activity and exercise.

Family-Friendly Amenities

Families can enjoy the large inclusive playground equipped with swings, slides, and climbing structures. The farm-themed splash pad, opened in 2023, operates seasonally and provides refreshing fun during warmer months.

Picnic shelters and open green spaces provide areas for rest and gatherings, while ample parking space and ADA-compliant pathways ensure accessibility for all visitors.

The park also includes bicycling amenities and clean restroom facilities, enhancing convenience and usability for all park visitors.

Future Development

Future phases of Midway Park are designed to further expand its offerings, with plans including additional baseball fields, a small amphitheater, and an extended walking trail. When fully completed, the park will be one of the largest in Nampa, providing a vibrant space for recreation and community activities.
