A Local Retreat Built Together

Situated in Nampa, Idaho, West Roosevelt Park is the result of a community rolling up its sleeves together. This park came into being through collaboration between the City of Nampa, Kaboom, Home Depot, and other local organizations.

Play & Skate Space for Everyone

Kids have been scrambling over the play structure since 2004, with its climbing challenges and slides providing the soundtrack of laughter that defines any good park.

A notable feature is the concrete-bowl-style skate park. Funded by community donors, this skate area welcomes everyone from wobbly first-timers to trick-landing veterans. The smooth surfaces are good for riders looking to practice their skills.

West Roosevelt isn't the biggest park around - it's a functional, welcoming space with room to breathe.

The open grassy areas offer perfect spots to toss a frisbee, have a picnic, or simply lie back and cloud-watch when life gets too hectic. A large parking lot means you won't circle endlessly looking for somewhere to leave your car, even during busier hours.

On hot Idaho summer days, you'll appreciate the drinking fountain to stay hydrated, and the refreshing pools scattered within the grounds offer welcome relief when temperatures climb.

The park brings neighbors together - kids make friends, teens hang out at the skate park, and adults enjoy the outdoor space.
