What to Expect

Keep in mind that amenities here are pretty basic. You'll find a few benches scattered throughout and typically just one picnic table rather than a dedicated picnic zone. Important note: despite what you might have heard, there are no public restrooms available here.

Thankfully, mature trees cast ample shade across parts of the park, creating cool spots to relax even during Idaho's warmer months. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to find street parking or borrow a spot from nearby businesses.

What South Fork Park lacks in fancy facilities, it makes up for with its quiet neighborhood vibe and easy-to-find location on W. Iowa Avenue. It's a nice spot when you're in the mood for a less crowded outdoor experience - whether you're exercising, unwinding, or simply meeting up with friends.
