Ranchview Park

Ranchview Park is an 8.1-acre recreational area located in Naperville, Illinois. The park is part of the Naperville Park District, which maintains over 130 parks across the city. Situated in a residential area, Ranchview Park offers a variety of outdoor activities for community members.

One of the park's notable features is its tennis facilities. The park boasts six unlit tennis courts, which have been adapted to accommodate pickleball as well. These courts have a unique modular plastic tile system, designed to ensure continuous operation and minimize maintenance. This system was implemented due to the park's history of traditional tennis court color coatings failing prematurely, likely due to moisture emitted from the concrete reservoir beneath the courts.

For pickleball enthusiasts, the tennis courts have been striped to create a total of nine pickleball courts. Three courts on the west side utilize the existing tennis nets, while six courts on the east side require players to bring their own nets. This dual-purpose setup allows for flexible use of the space, catering to both tennis and pickleball players.

In addition to the court facilities, Ranchview Park includes other recreational amenities. The park features a baseball diamond with 60-foot baselines, suitable for youth baseball games and practices. There is also a multi-purpose field that can be used for various sports and activities.
