Hazel Landing Park is a 41-acre park located in Carmel, Indiana, adjacent to the White River. Developed in 2003, the park offers a blend of natural scenery and recreational facilities.
The park features open green spaces, wooded areas, and direct access to the White River, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Disc Golf Course
One of the park's main attractions is its 18-hole disc golf course. The course runs throughout the wooded area, providing a challenging experience for disc golf players of various skill levels.
Eight holes are situated in "old growth" wooded areas, six in areas with 20-year-old trees, and four in open spaces, offering a diverse playing environment.
Water Activities
Hazel Landing Park includes a canoe and kayak launch point, allowing visitors to enter non-motorized water vessels into the White River. Fishing is also a popular activity in the park, with access to the river providing opportunities for anglers.
Amenities & Trails
Visitors can enjoy walks along the soft surface trails, observe local wildlife, or simply relax in the open green spaces. Picnic tables are available for those who wish to enjoy a meal outdoors, and grills are provided for cooking.
Temporary Closure Notice
As of March 2025, Hazel Landing Park is temporarily closed due to the construction of a new pedestrian bridge. This bridge, when completed, will connect Hazel Landing Park in Carmel to Heritage Park in Fishers, enhancing connectivity between the two communities.
