One of the park's highlights is its 6-hole disc golf course that's been around since 2008. Open all year, this course is perfect if you're just getting into disc golf or want to brush up on your technique without committing to a full 18 holes.

The course cleverly works with what nature already provided, weaving between trees and open spaces. Just a heads-up: hole #1 can be a bit tricky to find at first, so you might want to download UDisc or another disc golf app to help you navigate.

Kids will make a beeline for the playground area with equipment that's kept in great shape. It's a popular spot for families, and great for letting little ones burn off some energy while making new friends.

Basketball enthusiasts can enjoy the basketball court that's always ready for a pickup game or solo shooting practice. It's easy to access and you'll often find locals showing off their skills here.
