Clopper Park (also known as Clopper Field) is a spacious outdoor retreat in the Powell Avenue area of Kansas City, Kansas, managed by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas Parks and Recreation Department - quite a mouthful!

If you're looking to play ball, the park has baseball and soccer fields that regularly host everything from casual weekend games to more organized local competitions.

Beyond the designated sports areas, there's a large open field that's fantastic for whatever activity strikes your fancy - tossing a frisbee, going for a jog, or letting your four-legged friend burn off some energy.

Take a Break

Need to catch your breath? Scattered around the grounds are comfortable benches where you can sit back and watch the world go by. On those scorching Kansas summer days, you'll appreciate the large shade trees that provide much-needed shelter from the sun.

Got little ones in tow? The park features a swing set that's sure to keep children entertained while you enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

What's New

Clopper Park is getting better all the time. The Unified Government Parks & Recreation Department recently sought bids for the Clopper Park Improvements Project.

A new trail was recently added to the park, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This path adds yet another way to enjoy the natural beauty of this Kansas City green space.
