Lake Olathe Park is an expansive recreational area located in Olathe, Kansas. The park is centered around a 170-acre lake and encompasses 258 acres of community park space.

Swimming and Water Activities
The park features a swim beach that is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. During this period, the beach is accessible Thursdays through Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm.
One of the main attractions is the Aquapark, a floating obstacle course on the lake. To use this feature, participants must be at least 48 inches tall.
The park also offers boat rentals at its marina, including canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and pedal boats.
Nature Playground
For those who prefer land-based activities, the park includes a nature playground called the Beaver Creek Nature Playground. This area features various play elements such as a splash creek, zip line, small cave, climbing area, and meadow maze.

Fishing
Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy angling at Lake Olathe, which is home to several fish species including bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, saugeye, wiper, and white crappie. A fishing license is required.

The park caters to disc golf players with an 18-hole course. This technical course offers a challenging experience with elevation changes and a mix of forest and prairie landscapes, all while providing views of the lake.
For those seeking a venue for events, the park includes Eagles Landing, a facility that can accommodate up to 192 people. It comes equipped with amenities such as a projector, Bluetooth capabilities, dressing rooms, a catering kitchen, and a large deck overlooking the lake.
Lake Olathe Park also features several miles of paved trails, providing opportunities for walking, jogging, and biking while enjoying the natural surroundings.
