Fairmount Park, located in northeast Wichita, Kansas, is a 10-acre community park acquired in 1925. It is situated near Hillside and 13th Street, adjacent to the Wichita State University campus.

Community Facility

One of the standout features of Fairmount Park is its community facility, which can accommodate up to 60 people. This facility is ideal for hosting gatherings such as birthdays, reunions, or showers.

Sports and Recreation

The park is well-equipped for outdoor activities, with a baseball/softball diamond, a basketball court, a futsal court, a tennis court, and a volleyball court. In recent years, upgrades to the sports areas include the replacement of one of the tennis courts with a futsal court.

For families visiting the park, the playground, splash pad, and StoryWalk provide engaging activities for children and adults alike. The splash pad offers a fun and refreshing space, especially during warmer months.
