Stansbury Park

Historical Significance

Stansbury Park is a 7-acre neighborhood park situated in Louisville, Kentucky, near the University of Louisville's Belknap Campus. This park is a part of the esteemed Olmsted Park System, designed by the Olmsted Brothers, making it a significant part of Louisville's historical and cultural fabric.

Originally known as Third Street Triangle, the park was renamed in 1985 to honor William B. Stansbury, a former mayor of Louisville.
