About Eldon B. Keith Field
Across From the High School
Directly across West Elm Street from Brockton High School, Eldon B. Keith Field has long been tied to the school. For years it was the venue for the school's track meets and football games, band performances and half-time shows, and graduation ceremonies.
The city's Parks and Recreation Department runs it as a special use facility, in the same category as the Asiaf Recreation Area and the Cosgrove Municipal Pool.
Iron Gates and Permits
You'll recognize the field by its open-work iron gates, set just back from the sidewalk along West Elm Street.

Like Brockton's other city-owned recreational facilities, the field can only be used with a permit, which you get from the Parks Department at 45 Meadow Lane. The season runs from April 1 through November 15.
