Eisenhower Park stretches across 10 acres of unspoiled greenway in southwest Ann Arbor, right next to I-94. Just south of Scio Church Road, this green space forms a natural connection between neighborhoods, providing a quiet spot amid the urban landscape.

You can find yourself wandering through an unpaved setting that beautifully balances natural elements with recreational opportunities. The park connects to Ann Arbor's broader network of green spaces, including the nearby Churchill Downs Park.

Trail Access

In 2022, community volunteers created a walking path through the park, making this natural location more accessible. Now, you can easily explore all this space has to offer.

The winding trails take you through sections where seasonal changes put on quite a show. The fall color display here makes for nice photographs. Each season brings its own character to the landscape, giving you something new to discover year-round.

Environmental Features

Eisenhower Park also has practical environmental functions. The northern section houses a stormwater retention basin, helping manage runoff in the area. Next to it stands a noteworthy hill that transforms into a popular sledding spot when snow blankets the ground.

This space is good for a quiet walk or time with nature without leaving the city. The diverse terrain shifts with the seasons, offering different experiences all year long.
