Fritz Park connects directly to the larger Eberwhite Woods and Nature Area and sits between residential streets and Eberwhite Elementary School, making it a natural hub for the neighborhood. This delightful 5-acre green space is home to 81 native plant species, including the delicate black snakeroot, vibrant woodland phlox, and elegant flowering dogwood, all woven together by wooded trails through a mature oak-hickory forest.

Playground and Features

The heart of Fritz Park features a modest but welcoming play area that's particularly suited for younger children. You can find a low play structure, baby swings, and a classic tire swing that kids tend to gravitate toward. The mini-rock wall is perfectly sized for preschoolers, giving them just enough challenge without being overwhelming.

Parking and Entrances

Getting to Fritz Park is straightforward - you can find street parking along Hewett Drive and Russell Road on the east side, or Northwood Street to the west. Access points are available from Pauline Boulevard and at the intersections of Hewett and Russell.
