It's located just north of Pinewood Elementary School, making it easy to find even for first-time visitors. Managed by the Rochester Parks & Recreation Department, the park offers a good mix of open play spaces and natural terrain - suitable for dogs of various energy levels.

Trails and Landscape

When it comes to walking options, you've got choices here. Stroll along paved paths for an easier walk, or venture onto unpaved trails if you're feeling a bit more adventurous. The partially wooded sections are a real blessing during hot summer days, providing much-needed shade when temperatures climb.

Perhaps the most exciting feature for water-loving dogs is the access to Bear Creek in the back section. It's a natural splash zone where pups can cool off and play, but keep in mind this area isn't fully fenced - so keep an eye on wandering explorers.

The main areas are covered with wood chips, which are comfortable for doggy paws but can turn muddy after rain. If your dog enjoys a more wild experience, the wooded parts offer natural terrain that brings out their inner explorer.
