About Hamline Park in Saint Paul
Hamline Park is a 2.1-acre urban park located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, alongside Snelling Avenue. The park is divided into four distinct sections by intersecting trails, offering a variety of recreational spaces for visitors.
In the northern section of Hamline Park, visitors will find a spacious playground area that was recently updated in 2021. This new play space includes five slides, multiple climbing structures, and four swings, one of which is wheelchair accessible. A separate toddler area is situated nearby, allowing parents to easily supervise children of different ages.
The eastern quarter of the park features a recently renovated futsal court, which replaced the former tennis courts. To the south, there is a basketball court along with bike racks and additional playing equipment. Adjacent to Snelling Avenue, the park offers an open green space for relaxation and informal activities.
Hamline Park serves as a neighborhood gathering spot, providing a mix of active and passive recreation opportunities.
