In the northern section of Hamline Park, visitors will find a spacious playground area that was recently updated in 2021. This new play space includes five slides, multiple climbing structures, and four swings, one of which is wheelchair accessible. The eastern quarter of the park features a recently renovated futsal court, which replaced the former tennis courts. To the south, there is a basketball court along with bike racks and additional playing equipment.
