A Cozy Green Retreat

Auburn Hills Park came to life as part of Columbia's vision for more accessible green spaces, outlined in their 1994 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. Purchased in 2002 and developed with funds from the 2005 Park Sales Tax, it officially opened its gates in October 2009. Today the 12.2-acre park serves the Auburn Hills Subdivision just off East Brown School Road, combining recreational areas with natural beauty in a way that works well for the neighborhood.

What You Can Do Here

While small in size, Auburn Hills doesn't skimp on options for outdoor enjoyment. A 0.3-mile gravel trail loops through the park - fantastic for a quick morning jog or an evening stroll to clear your mind.

If you're bringing the kids along, there's a playground where they can burn off some energy. It's well-maintained and clean, but it might not have the most extensive options for the tiniest tots.
