Natural Features
Lakewood Greenway spans approximately 9.27 acres and is situated near Northeast 46th Street and North Norton Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. It is part of the Kansas City Parks & Recreation system.
The park features several lakes that are periodically stocked with fish by the Missouri Department of Conservation, making it a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. These lakes are part of a larger system known as the Lakewood Greenway Lakes.
Trail System
Lakewood Greenway includes a multi-use trail system for visitors to enjoy. A 10-foot wide trail runs underneath the I-35 Bridge, connecting to other parts of the Lakewood Greenway Trail network.
This extensive trail system provides excellent opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling through the park's natural surroundings.
