It's one of those playgrounds where you can actually sit back for a minute while the kids burn off some energy.

What makes this park special is its 10-acre native habitat area where you can disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature. You might spot some local wildlife if you're patient (and quiet) enough.

Feeling like you need to move your legs? The 0.8-mile asphalt trail weaves through some lovely wooded areas, offering a refreshing walk or jog. We appreciate that parts of the trail are shaded by trees - a real blessing during those hot Missouri summer days when you're trying to get some steps in without melting.
