Established back in 1980, Lucier Park (officially named Phillip Lucier Park) honors the former president of Continental Telephone Corp. This cozy neighborhood green space spans 2.97 acres - a small but meaningful contribution to St. Louis's impressive 2,956 acres of total park land.

Tucked away at the intersection of Hamilton and Westminster in the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood, this park can be a bit of a lesser-known park. The neighborhood's maze of dead ends and one-way streets might make your first visit a mini-adventure, but it's worth the effort to find this local treasure.

Once you arrive at Lucier Park, you'll discover a modest playground where kids can burn off energy and a football field complete with two field goals for impromptu games. The open terrain offers plenty of space to toss a frisbee, have a picnic, or simply relax with a good book under the sky.
