At the heart of this North Las Vegas location sits a large man-made lake with a cascading waterfall that creates the kind of peaceful ambiance you'll want to bottle up and take home. It's not just pretty to look at - this water feature has become home to quite the collection of wild residents: ducks waddle about, geese honk their hellos, turtles sun themselves on rocks, and if you're lucky, you might spot a crane or two making a guest appearance.

Take a leisurely stroll along the winding paths surrounding the lake, where nature appreciation comes naturally. The waterfall area makes for some Instagram-worthy photo ops, but fair warning: our feathered friends aren't always mindful of where they leave their, um, contributions on the walkways.

The Story Walk path connecting to the Aliante Library offers a particularly engaging experience for families looking to combine outdoor time with a bit of learning.

If you're feeling more active, the park has you covered with tennis courts, volleyball courts (including sandy ones for beach volleyball vibes), and soccer fields where you can work up a proper sweat.
