About the Location
Historical Significance
Morris Square Park is a public green space located in the Liberty Harbor North Redevelopment zone of Jersey City, New Jersey. The park showcases the rich industrial history of the Morris Canal while providing active and passive open space for the community.
As an artistic interpretation of the 107-mile historic Morris Canal route, a bold street graphic meanders along Grove Street and into the park, terminating at a monumental sign with information regarding the historical significance of the canal.
