The paved exploring trail is perhaps the park's best feature if you're looking to get some steps in. It works well for a casual walk, a morning jog, or a bike ride. What's nice is that the trail doesn't just end at the park's boundaries - it continues west beyond Wyoming Boulevard, connecting you deeper into the neighborhood.

Places to Gather and Relax

The park's grassy areas provide plenty of space to throw down a blanket for impromptu picnics or simply to lie back and watch the clouds drift by.

The covered picnic pavilion provides nice shade for outdoor meals. Here's a fun tidbit: if you stand in the center of the pavilion and speak, you'll notice a unique acoustic effect that amplifies your voice like a megaphone. Don't worry though - this sound doesn't carry beyond the structure, so your conversations remain private.
