Hank Nowak Park

History and Background

Hank Nowak Park has been around since about 1955, when it originally went by the name Sycamore Playgrounds before being renamed Hank Nowak Playgrounds in 1964. Today it offers 3.8 acres of green space near Sycamore Street in Buffalo, New York, and has become a popular spot for locals to gather and unwind.

The City of Buffalo's Department of Public Works, Parks and Streets takes care of this little urban oasis. In recent years, they've been improving the park, adding better facilities and amenities.
