McKinley Park

History and Background

McKinley Park is a neighborhood park located on the southside of Syracuse, New York. Purchased by the city in 1920, the park was formerly a brickyard with a pond and well. Over the years, the city has developed the area into a recreational space for the community.

The park spans 7.77 acres and is classified as a neighborhood park within Syracuse's park system. It is situated on West Newell Street, providing a green space for residents in the surrounding area.
